Kid Pix
More than just an art program, Kid Pix is also a powerful, easy-to-use multimedia program. With the slideshow feature, students can prepare animated reports and create slide shows with special effects including sounds and screen transitions. This powerful feature lends itself to applications all across the curriculum, from book reports, to science projects, classroom documentaries, and more. As students interweave text, sounds, and graphics, they expand their sense of narrative from static images to storytelling sequences.

Adobe Photoshop 7.0
Enhance your graphic design, photography, and web productions using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Manipulate and edit photos using an assortment of paint, draw, and special effects tools to create high-quality images. A file management system helps to sort and locate images for your projects.

These drawing tablets attach to the computer. Students use a special pen to create sketches in color. As they sketch, the image shows up on the computer screen. Students can create drawings that can be saved and used on the web or in other software on the computer, like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.

Dreamweaver
This software is used by commercial designers to create web pages. Older students can use Dreamweaver to create their own designs into a web site.
