This WebQuest is geared towards third grade students but it could be adapted for second graders.  You could use this activity  a few days before Halloween to learn about spiders or as an additional activity for a unit on spiders.  The following links can be used before, during, or after the WebQuest.

The students can use this Spider Worksheet to list the three spiders they will be researching and then use the web to jot down some notes as they research.
