Authors are interesting characters and you should try to  get to know them a little better. If you choose to enter, your task will be to create a book dedicated to one of the authors listed below. You will need to devise a list of five questions to ask your author. Some ideas might include:
1. Which of your characters are you most like and why?
2. What made you decide to become an author?
3. How many books have you written? Which one is your favorite and why?
You will have to travel to your author's webpage to locate the answers to your questions.

In addition, the contest requires you to create a new book cover for your favorite book complete with a new story ending, compose a list of at least 8-10 books by your author, create a graphic organizer comparing two of his or her books, and finally, present your completed book to your classmates! Maybe YOU will be the next Beverly Cleary or Gary Paulson!!!
