goldbar The time was August 1896. The place was Alaska.  The discovery was GOLD! During the next few years, over 80,000 people rushed to the Klondike seeking their fortune! The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker -- literally anybody and everybody -- headed to the frozen north.
goldbar You are not one to miss an opportunity.  As a journalist,  you dream of gaining fame by researching and reporting about the Klondike Goldrush.  As an adventurer, you want to experience the excitement firsthand.  As an entrepreneur, you consider not just reporting the news, but starting a newspaper in this heretofore, unpopulated land called Alaska.
goldbar Quickly, you ask three fellow journalists to come with you to this frozen land of fame and fortune.
