Teachers, this WebQuest addresses the South Carolina Language Art/Social Studies Standards . Due to to difficulty of finding reading material appropriate for this age I have written some of it myself. You might want to have students pair with upper grades to help them with their research.

Expectations: When your children have completed this WebQuest, they should be able to share with an audience what they think the season of winter is and why we have winter. They should also be able to include facts about winter animals.
