When you first signed up for ISIS
(the Internet Search Investigation Society), you had no idea what your
job would entail. You know very little about the Society or about Internet
searching in general. You feel both nervous and excited to be getting your
first case.
Other members of the society have tipped you off that most ISIS inductees
get as their first assignment a case that really tests their investigative
and critical thinking skills. You're beginning to wonder if you're the
right person for the job. "Not to worry," they say. "The first case always
allows you to 'learn on the job.'"
