Oxymoron
An Oxymoron is a seeming contradiction in two words put together An oxymoron is a poetic device which places together two words which have opposite meanings: for example, cold heat, naughty angel, beautiful noise.

Notice the combination of contradictory terms, such as used by Romeo in Act 1, scene 1 of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet:"


Why then, O brawling love! O loving hate!
O heavy lightness, serious vanity;
Misshapen chaos of well-seeming forms!
