Now that you know how to write a limerick, and you have read a few limericks created by students, try your skill at writing this five line poem. Make sure you stick to the rhyme and rhythm needed to make a limerick.

Share your limerick with another person in the class. The two of you should check each other's poem to make sure it has the proper beat and rhyme.
