1. The Question

Consumers today have hundreds of cars to choose from, designed for many different applications from dozens of manufacturers.  Some cars are luxury cars, designed to be comfortable but they tend to be expensive.  Some cars are designed to be as inexpensive as possible, but may be made with cheap parts and may not last long. Sport Utility vehicles are lots of fun to drive, but are usually gas guzzlers and sometimes have safety issues.  Some consumes do not like to buy foreign cars, preferring to buy American products and support American companies. With all these variables, how can a consumer make a good decision about the best car to buy?  The answer lies in the needs of the particular consumer. Given the consumer's needs, one should be able find a car to match if enough criteria are submitted.

We are going to create a device that will assist the consumer in making a decision!  MS Access can help us create a database of information that can be evaluated in different ways. Your database, once finished, will allow a consumer to punch in criteria to a query, and receive information on a car that would likely match his or her needs!
