The resources linked on this page have been featured in professional development sessions provided by CCSD Educational Technology. Some sites may require a user name or password that can be provided to you by the your media specialist, technology teacher or the Educational Technology Specialist assigned to your learning community.
Edmodo- Social networking for education. Join the CCSD Schools site and find your school. Go to the CCSD U Drive on My Computer and open the "Passwords" folder for the Edmodo Codes.

Audacity- Free sound recording and editing software.
Microsoft Photo Story 3- Free application for creating narrated videos using your digital images, see a handout on the " How To" page.
OnePlaceSC- SC ETV Learning Portal lets teachers search all ETV's resource partners one username and password.
Gizmos - Online simulations for 3-12 math and science teachers. To receive a username and password one must attend a professional development session. Contact your Ed Tech Specialist for more information.
Renzulli- Supports Differentiation by matching students with engaging, individualized resources specially chosen for their interest areas and learning styles. CCSD is currently piloting Renzulli in several schools. Contact your Ed Tech Specialist for more information.
Post and Courier – Newspapers in Education - subscribe to the e-edition of the Post and courier or find valuable resources on using the newspaper as an instructional tool.
Google Earth - This interactive tool allows users to go any where on earth or outer space with the click of a mouse. See courses offered on Google Earth in the classroom, or contact your Ed Tech Specialist for more information.
Google Earth for Social Studies Teachers- Self paced SMART Notebook file with directions for using Google Earth in the classroom as well as other map resources for teachers of social studies. (You will need SMART Notebook or the SMART Notebook Interactive viewer to open this file.)
