Charleston County School District Video Services has put Technology Best Practices videos, Fanny Farkle Technology Tips, Liaison Broadcast videos, and Educational Technology Vodcasts online at the SC Video Streaming site. Watch these videos for great ideas in technology use in the classroom.

Directions:

1. Go to SC Video Streaming
2. Log in. (See your media specialist if you do not have a user name.)
3. On the search page in the Subject search, use the drop down box to find Local Content.
4. In the Category box, drop down and find Professional Development.

Summer Technology Courses Posted

Summer technology courses are now listed on the Educational Technology website. Click on the PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT link above, click on the Courses link on the left, click on the Course List link on the left. A pdf list of all graduate and recertification courses will open for you. All course information - including SRN numbers for ERO - will be listed.

Log into ERO to register for courses.

Special Recognition

Congratulations to our own Dr. Kristen Brittingham for being recognized for outstanding services as an adjunct faculty member for the College of Charleston/University of Charleston. Dr. Brittingham was nominated by her Department Chair and Dean. She will receive $500 as part of her recognition. Dr. Brittingham also received the outstanding dissertation award for her doctorate work at Nova Southeastern University. Way to go, Dr. Brittingham!
