Professional Development

Providing quality professional development for teachers in the area of technology is a priority of the Department of Educational Technology. During the 2007-2008 school year CCSD Ed Tech offered over 200 technology integration courses and workshops, and had over 3,000 participants. Ed Tech develops and offers over 100 technology courses annually free of charge for teacher certificate renewal. In the past six years, teacher technology proficiency has increased from 10% met to 88% met through professional development offered by Educational Technology.
