Format
For Instructor's Vita
- Name and Social Security number.
- Home and Professional Addresses--include phone numbers and
E-mail address.
- Education--list all undergraduate and graduate institutions
attended, degrees and dates obtained. If you are applying for
approval from The Citadel to teach a graduate course, please
provide an official copy of your transcript of highest degree
if it is not on file with the College of Graduate and Professional
Studies at The Citadel.
- Professional Experience--list all professional experiences
with dates since obtaining the bachelor's degree--list current
position first, providing a brief description of duties and
responsibilities for each position.
- Licensures and Certification--list all certifications, levels,
dates obtained, and any licensures held.
- Professional Organizations--list all professional organizations
to which you belong.
- Professional Leadership--list all important instances of leadership
at the district level and above--include dates.
- (For graduate course instruction only) List all Research Grants,
Consultantships, Awards, and/or Honors received or held.
- List all presentations at major professional association meetings
(i.e.:conferences)--include full title, date, and name of association.
- List all publications if applicable.
- List all advising work done with undergraduate or graduate
students--include dates and institution.
- List previous undergraduate or graduate teaching experience--include
dates and institution.
- Provide a full description of all training and experiences
that qualify you to teach the course proposed--if your terminal
degree is not in the area of proposed instruction, list the
coursework you have taken that qualifies you to teach this course.
Provide a photocopy of any certificates awarded for training
and/or letters from instructors indicating all training criteria
have been met. Instructors teaching courses categorized as "distance
Education" must include a complete description of his/her
experience and background in both the content area and in distance
education courses.
